### Database Configuration

Taskflow AI offers flexible storage options:

- **Official Database**: Fully managed by taskflow team, No setup, Free to use
- **Self-Hosted Database** (Recommended): Use your own MongoDB database for complete control

#### Per-Organization Storage

You can configure storage on a per-organization basis:

1. **During Organization Creation**: Enable "Self-host this organization" checkbox
2. **In Organization Settings**: Toggle storage mode in the Storage tab

When self-hosting is enabled, all organization, project, and task data is stored in your custom database while maintaining organization memberships in our system.
