Database Configuration

Taskflow AI offers flexible storage options:

  • Official Database: Fully managed by taskflow team, No setup, Free to use
  • Self-Hosted Database (Recommended): Use your own MongoDB database for complete control

Per-Organization Storage

You can configure storage on a per-organization basis:

  1. During Organization Creation: Enable "Self-host this organization" checkbox
  2. In Organization Settings: Toggle storage mode in the Storage tab

When self-hosting is enabled, all organization, project, and task data is stored in your custom database while maintaining organization memberships in our system.
